On behalf of Trail Appliances and the 2009 Committee of the 32nd Annual TRAIL APPLIANCES CURLING CLASSIC, Amy Nixon, Bronwen Webster and myself would like to extend a warm welcome to all Sponsors, Competitors, Fans, Advertisers and Donors.
This is Trail Appliances' fourth year being title sponsor for the Curling Classic, and we couldn't be more excited!
What a fantastic year this is for such a great event! Being that this is an Olympic year, we are thrilled to have so many international participants from Switzerland, Denmark, Japan and of course, China, home of the defending world champions.
Closer to home, we are privileged to have all four Canadian teams participating who have already qualified for the 2009 Roar of the Rings Olympic trials.
On behalf of Trail Appliances and the Curling Classic Committee, I would like to thank the Calgary Curling Club for hosting, yet again this great event in one of Canada's finest curling facilities. Your expertise and assistance is very much appreciated!
To the Committee, thank you for the countless hours put into to making this event such a success. Your energy, commitment and passion for this sport and event is evident and appreciated so much!
